As Microsoft continues to roll out new preview builds of its next Windows 10 update, it is also aiming to ease the process. The new Unified Update Platform will debut for developers in stages.
Set to roll out in early 2017, Microsoft's next major refresh for Windows 10 is being dubbed the Creators Update for its heavy emphasis on painting, 3D imaging and other creative tools.
Among the devices expected to be unveiled at Microsoft's upcoming event is a new type of Surface device: an all-in-one PC. The new desktop aims to leverage Microsoft's success with its Surface Pro 2-in-1.
